Mr. Ahmedov is an executive vice president and product strategist in the London office, responsible for global bond, multi-sector fixed income, and multi-asset strategies. He worked in the Newport Beach office from 2021 until 2024. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he was with Barclays Capital in London for eight years, most recently as vice president and product manager for inflation-linked products and index derivatives. He has 22 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Lancaster in the U.K.
